Welcome to Comic Book Bondage Cover of the Day, the web's foremost reference site for bondage covers on mainstream comic books since July 1, 1999.
All of the cover scans on this site are from comic books or pulp magazines which were sold on newsstands to the public. Accordingly, this site is open to all ages, although parental guidance is recommended. Some of those pulp covers were rather risque.
Most of the cover scans on this site were obtained from the Internet. I've expended a great deal of time and effort to provide the best images available, and every scan is at least 600 pixels high. However, quality does vary over the 3,000-plus images currently on the site. Your contributions of scans or reference information are greatly appreciated. Finding material to keep this site going is not easy!
Images provided on this site are for educational and reference purposes. Their owners retain all copyrights.
I invite your submissions for the best bondage covers of all time.
Send me scans of your favorite covers in any or all of the following categories.
Illustrated or photo covers are welcome. No porn, please; that's
a different category.
I have assembled a panel of six judges who will evaluate the submissions on qualities such as artistic merit, storytelling, quality of bondage, and the factor I describe as "I've gotta have that book!"
Rules:
1) Submit scans of published items only. Limit yourself to no more than five entries in each category. Send the best quality scans you have, up to 300 dpi. Don't worry about the file size, my Gmail account can handle it.
2) Name your files in the following style: Contest # - Description - Your Email address

If you don't know a date or can't decide on the category, just do your best and I'll sort out the details.
3) Email your submissions to covers3@aol.com. Put "Contest #__" on the subject line. Multiple emails are okay. You can also use a service like Rapidshare, if you prefer.
4) If two people submit the same cover, the better quality scan gets credit for it.
5) Submissions received after the listed deadlines will be appreciated, but not included in the judging.
6) Prizes:
The winner in each category will receive a CD containing all of the covers
currently archived on Comic Book Bondage Cover of the Day, including upgraded
scans in many cases.
The Grand Prize winner for "Best Bondage Cover Ever Seen on a Commercial Product" will receive his or her choice of Volume 1 or 2 of Empowered by Adam Warren.
7) Submissions may be posted on this web site at the webmaster's discretion. Email addresses will remain confidential.
During a former theme, I presented every "bondage cover" listed in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. The listings in the Guide got me started hunting for scans back in the 1990's, because I wanted to see what the darn things looked like. There is still one interior that eludes me.
